I grew up spending my days barefoot in the woods, drawing pictures. Not much has changed since then. My art is still inspired by nature and everyday magic. I love to create expressive animals, imaginary creatures, and detailed worlds.

I'm a practitioner of Zen meditation and am interested in creating works that reflect the interconnectedness of all living things.

I'm also interested in exploring issues of mental health, as I am a survivor of suicide loss and have conducted expressive arts programs for survivor support groups.

I am part of a blended family that includes lgbt identities, gender nonconformity, and neurodiversity so it's important to me that my work represents a variety of genders, orientations, types of minds, and shapes of families.
